Welcome from the PTA President
Hi Mustangs,

Wow, summer sure flew by!  Can you all believe that school starts on Wednesday?  I hope you all had a wonderful summer creating fun memories.  I always love to see the postcards sent to our Librarian Ms Primm to see the fun travels of Meadows families.

We had a great turnout at Pride Day this past Saturday and the campus looks amazing!  The class postings are still up in case you didn't get a chance to stop by.  And how excited are we all to have Principal Whitt in her 2nd year here at Meadows!!  Last year was a year of change and we continue to embrace change this year with some teacher rotations and two new teachers.  We will even be debuting an online directory this year in place of the usual paper directory; more details to come.

Free Online Parenting Workshop for Meadows PTA

As parents, we all want less fighting and more peace in our house. We all want to teach our kids how to talk things out and develop problem-solving skills-whether it's a kid-kid conflict or a kid-parent conflict. This workshop is an ideal first step if you would like to teach your children to solve their own problems respectfully, so that you can have more ease and peace.

You'll learn:-
  • Three steps to respond to a conflict in a way that feels good to kids and parents
  • How to build respect, cooperation, emotional safety and avoid power struggles, without relying on punishments or rewards
  • What to do when it all falls apart-when you've run out of ideas
It's on Saturday, August 29th at 2pm PT/5pm ET. And (usually the fee is $47/per person for this class) this time, it's FREE for all members of Meadows PTA.To join on Saturday click here -  www.HappilyFamily.com/Class
