Mother Son Event Is Today!!
|
Our annual Mother Son fundraiser is this Friday 3/20 at Adventureplex from 4-7pm. See the flyer for more information! It is $15 per person with a cap at $40 per family.
It is a really fun event. Hope to see everyone there rock climbing, on the play structure, playing basketball or doing the Zumba class!

Spring Pride Day - Tomorrow Morning!

 We've got our Spring Pride Day event coming up TOMORROW - Saturday, March 21st 9 am - 1 pm. This time we'll be tackling the the cut-out planters on the back/ patio sides on rooms 3- 6, 8- 10 & 13- 15. As always, our wonderful PTA will be funding the materials, but it's up to us as a school community to provide the muscle! Please come ready to get down & dirty! Bring your labeled gardening tools and the whole family. We'll have simple weeding & clean-up projects for the little ones.

 Mrs. Michael has a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for you! On Thursday, March 26th, at 7:30 AM, she will be hosting a web conference with an astronomer named Aryan Mishra. Last August, Aryan (along with a partner) discovered an asteroid while looking up at the sky at his home in New Delhi, India, and is in the process of naming it! The most exciting part? He was only 14 years old! His new goal is to get students around the world excited about astronomy and reaching for their dreams. Come into the lab starting at 7:20 AM on the 26th with questions for this young Indian astronomer, and be prepared to be inspired!!! Questions? E-mail Mrs. Michael at jmichael@mbusd.org |
