Giddy Up and Buy Your Tickets for the Meadows Parent Party NOW!
The 2015 Meadows Parent Party is tomorrow, Saturday, March 7th - you don't want to miss out so make sure you buy your tickets soon. You can buy tickets until midnight tonight at $90/ticket easily via the following link: http://www.meadowsschool.org/content/2015-parent-party-tickets . Online tickets will no longer be available tomorrow but tickets will be available at the door for $100/ticket.
Also, we will be selling raffle tickets today during the Ice Cream social. Raffle tickets are $20 for 10 tickets. Raffle items include (4) Disneyland Park Hopper Passes, art work by M Street Artwork, "The Little Lifeguard Tower that Could" photograph printed on aluminum, ready to hang and signed by Pete Halvorsen, three foot tall Elsa Doll, one week of Camp Awesome summer camp, $100 gift certificate to MB School of Dance and one week of Skate Dawgs summer camp.

Running Club Yearbook Picture Today!
Hey Mustang runners! We will be taking a picture this morning for the Yearbook! Those runners who show up in a Running Club T-shirt - or in Meadows gear if you don't have a Running club T-shirt - get double laps and your picture in the yearbook for running club!

Science Fair Applications Due Today!
Attention 4th and 5th grade parents!!! The science fair applications are due TODAY (March 6th) by 3 PM in the science lab!!! They MUST have a parent signature to be accepted! If your student lost their copy, they can either pick up a new one in the science lab, or you can go online at www.meadowsscience.wordpress.com, and print out a new one! Questions? Can't wait to see the project ideas! Remember- nothing using a heartbeat- no animals or people!

Meadows Summer Camp Expo Next Saturday
Check out the annual Meadows Summer Camp EXPO on Saturday, March 14th from 9am-1pm at MBMS. You can browse through over 40 camps to plan a really fun summer for your kids, bid on camps at the Silent Auction and enjoy El Gringo, Fresh Brothers, and a refreshing Kona Ice snow cone or lemonade!
New this year:
Bike Safety Course : Licensed instructors from Beach Cities Cycling Club and the South Bay Bicycle Coalition prepared a drop-in, free bike safety course. The course features multiple stations including: helmet fitting, rules of the road and a skills course. Drop in any time during Camp Expo with your bike and helmet. Maker Space Demonstration of Air Powered Rockets: MakerSpaces from each elementary school are building air- powered rocket launchers. Kids can go to Camp Expo and build their own rocket. New or Used Book Drive: Girl Scout Troop 8895 is holding a book drive and lemonade stand fundraiser to benefit Valiente College Prep School in South Gate.
