Be prepared: Every child needs an emergency kit for storage at school that meets the California Emergency supply requirements. More Prepared is offering school survival kits which contain food, water, and other essentials, and will give a portion of each kit back to our PTA. Family Portraits Fundraiser
 Now is a great opportunity to have a fabulous family photo taken at the beach or at a local park. And you'll also help raise funds for Meadows PTA. Book a sitting with JW Photography, the sitting fee is $45, half of that fee goes back to Meadows and 15% of your total portrait order too! Call JW Photography directly (310-640-7212) to book your appointment or mail back a request to them w/payment. Information on sitting locations/times came home in your child's white "Tues" envelope on Thursday last week. There are also copies in the office. Appointments under the MB Pier book fast! | Free Breakfast for Students on Tuesday!
McDonald's restaurants in Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Ventura counties are offering free breakfast to all students up to 8th grade on Tuesday, Sept. 9th from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. This free breakfast includes any breakfast sandwich, apple slices or Yoplait Go-Gurt, and 1% lowfat milk. We hope this helps kick start the school year!

First Meals for Meadows of the Year is next Wednesday - Cantina Real
Please mark your calendars for upcoming Meals for Meadows dates:
*September 10 at Cantina Real
*October 8 at Sammy's Woodfired Pizza and Grill
*November 12 at Fresh Brothers Pizza
*December 17 at California Pizza Kitchen
*January 14 at Rubio's
For families new to Meadows, Meals for Meadows is a monthly FUNdraiser hosted by local restaurants. All you have to do is take your family to dinner on the designated day, present the flyer that will be distributed in the Tuesday folders just before the event, and sign the guest book at the restaurant. That's it! Then the restaurant will donate a percentage of the proceeds from Meadows families back to our school.
