| Meadows Class Posting & Pride Day - Saturday, Aug. 23, 9am - 1pm | | |
 Come find out which class you're in next year, reconnect with friends, help spiff up the campus, join the PTA, get your new Meadows T-Shirts, buy SCRIP, order your child's emergency kit, sign up to volunteer, and more! Class lists will be posted at 9:30am. Meadows Cub Scouts will be selling donuts in the morning and pizza later in the day. This always-awesome event is one you don't want to miss. | Tragedy for Meadows family relative | | 
The Jackson family has suffered a tragedy and could use your prayers and support. A little less than a week ago Tricia Jackson's brother, Chad Larivee suffered a traumatic neck and spinal cord injury following a fall from a three story roof. After being airlifted to Rhode Island Trauma Center and after 9 hours of surgery, he remains stable but in intensive care and the long term prognosis regarding his ability to walk or move again remains unclear at best. Chad is a fantastic father of three beautiful children, husband, son, brother and friend. He is also an incredibly brave and hard working Massachusetts firefighter that has often put his life on the line for others. Now he needs our help. For the many of you who have already contributed from across the country with your money, time and prayers, the Jackson's can not thank you enough. For the many that have reached out looking for a way to help, here are some avenues for you to consider.
(1) Please consider contributing to a fund his fellow firefighters have put together to help cover the considerable medical costs associated with a long recovery. http://www.gofundme.com/ci2rmk
(2) Please consider packaging anything for a silent auction/raffle the firemen are putting together for a fundraising event that will occur in October. Tickets, apparel, autographed items, experiences all will go a long way. The point of contact/address for this event is:

KINDERGARTEN MEET & GREET AND KINDER PARENTS BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT- Monday, August 25th

10:45 - 11:15am - Parents & kinders come to the Kindergarten patio to enjoy yummy popsicles with your new friends!
5:30pm - Parents join the Kindergarten teachers in their classrooms to learn about important classroom and school policies, what to do and bring on the first day of school, etc. (parents only)
