A reminder about the upcoming celebration - Extension of deadline
We have extended the deadline for contribution to the group gift. You can drop off your contribution to Connie's gift as well as your child's card until Tuesday, June 24th. Please bring to Becky McCalla's house - 1601 Harkness after the close of school. You can leave in her mailbox. Checks should be made out to Meadows PTA.
The event is Thursday, June 26 from 2:00 - 5:00 at Salt Creek Grille 2015 E. Park Place El Segundo - Complimentary appetizers with a cash bar. This is an adult event so please coordinate with friends to get a sitter and come wish Connie well!

{Pages} Summer Reading Program and FUN-Rai$er
We are thrilled to announce a new summer reading program for Meadows families that will allow for our school to raise funds! Our local bookstore, {Pages} has generously offered to donate 20% of every purchase from the pre-selected booklist back to our school!
These books have been selected for our families by a collaboration of Meadows' teachers, MBUSD librarians and {Pages}. A list of fun summer reads for parents is also included!

Either choose books from your school's summer reading list or from {pages}' Fun Summer Reads list (a.k.a. any book on our shelves).
Keep a log. The more books read (age appropriate), the more opportunities for prizes.
Turn in your list at our end of the summer pizza party featuring "surprise" author(s), awards and gifts. Wednesday August 20th at 6pm.
