Join us to celebrate Connie Harrington's retirement after 22 years of dedication as the Meadows principal. Her enthusiasm, passion, and love for our kids will be greatly missed.

Yearbook signing party on 6/13 from 4:00-7:00 | |

Come on down to the lower field with your fancy pens and your yearbook and/or autograph book for a yearbook signing party. Come hungry because there will be plenty of food on sale. Two food trucks, Slammin' Sliders and Surfer Taco as well as Pinkberry Frozen Yogurt will all be campus. Don't miss out on the fun!

Running Club Announcements! | |

Thank you all for a fantastic year at Running Club! You ran 21,768 laps this year. That is a total of 4,354 miles! Over 200 students participated throughout the year, and 27 of our club members ran over 3 marathons. We look forward to celebrating our top runners at the end of the year award event and party on Friday.
Congrats to our newest 3rd marathon runners: Katherine Stuart, Curran Hedges and Grace Stuart!!
We are so grateful to everyone that came out to participate! Have a wonderful summer and remember to keep running!

Yearbooks are here! | |

The 2013-14 Yearbooks are here and will be distributed in the classrooms on Wednesday. If you did not order one, there is still an opportunity to get one. We have ordered some extra copies which may be purchased for $45. The team will be selling yearbooks on Wednesday after school in front of the Library, as well as Friday in front of the cafeteria. They will be sold on a first come, first served basis. Please contact the Yearbook Team at meadowsyearbook12@gmail.com if you have any questions or would like to place an order. You will receive the yearbooks in time for the Yearbook Signing Party on Friday afternoon.

The final Student Store of the year is this Thursday! Gather up all those Gold Cards as this is your final opportunity to use them for the Student Store! Please separate your gold cards in groups of ten at home - staple them together please - to make the counting go faster! Thank you!

Summer Library at Pacific

Get your Summer Reading books atthe Pacific Elementary School Library this summer! Thanks to a grant from MBEF, the library will be open for current MBUSD students and families.

It's easy to earn money for Meadows! We've already earned over $500! Please send in any Box Tops that you have as soon as possible. All you have to do is clip out Box Tops for Education! The Box Tops are located on many of the products that you already buy. When you see Box Tops, clip them out and return them to school. There is a large collection box in the front office and also in your child's classroom. Every Box Top counts! If we all get in the habit of clipping out the Box Tops, we could literally earn thousands of dollars for our school! If you have any questions, please call Teresa Hymowitz 310-990-7665.

Congratulations Meadows' Parents Softball Team!

Congratulations to the Meadows Parents who played in this Sunday's MBX Softball Tournament and advanced to the Championship Game! The team battled stiff competition, sore muscles and a grueling back-to-back schedule to reach the finals where they were narrowly edged 10 to 9 by a comeback win from American Martyrs. The Mustang spirit was strong and proud! Thank you team for representing the Meadows community!
