WE THINK THE WORLD OF OUR TEACHERS & STAFF

Our local businesses have been so generous donating various food items and gift cards for Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week. It would be great if we helped support them as they have supported us this week. JAVA MAN is donating coffee on Tuesday and Thursday as well as some morning treats on Thursday! COFFEE BEAN (on Rosecrans) donated coffee on Monday as well as Wednesday! PEETZ COFFEE is donating coffee on Friday! NOAHS BAGELS is donating bagels on various days. Huge thanks for their support.
We will also have a raffle for the teachers and staff to win donated items and gift cards from: Trader Joes, Bristol Farms, Fresh Brothers, Mama D's, Union Pizza, California Pizza Kitchen, Rubios, Panchos, Cozymels, Islands and the Hangar.

Volunteer Fair - Friday, May 16th

Please join us for the annual Volunteer Fair on Friday, May 16. We'll have three locations/times:
7:45 - 9:30 Kindergarten drop off
7:45 - 8:30 Rowell drop off
1:45 - 3:30 Meadows cafeteria
The Beatles said it best..."And in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make." The more you put into your child's time at Meadows, the more you will all take away from the experience.
As a parent of a current student, you know Meadows puts on a wide range of programs throughout the school year - from the Winter Program and Father/Daughter Dance to Young at Art and Grades of Green environmental campaign. These amazing programs for students, teachers and our community only happen with the support from the PTA and our parent volunteers like you. We have something for everyone depending on your time availability, areas of interest, skills and talents. Are you a whiz at excel? We need you! Do you love photography? We need you! Do you have a few hours to stuff envelopes? We need you!
We hope you'll join us to learn more about getting involved and making the 2014-2015 year a great one.

It's easy to earn money for Meadows! We've already earned over $500! Please send in any Box Tops that you have as soon as possible. All you have to do is clip out Box Tops for Education! The Box Tops are located on many of the products that you already buy. When you see Box Tops, clip them out and return them to school. There is a large collection box in the front office and also in your child's classroom. Every Box Top counts! If we all get in the habit of clipping out the Box Tops, we could literally earn thousands of dollars for our school! If you have any questions, please call Teresa Hymowitz 310-990-7665.
