The monthly PTA meeting is this morning in the cafeteria at 8:15am. Join us for a cup of coffee and a breakfast treat while you hear about what is going on in our school and the district. See you there!

| Calling All Fathers and Daughters | | |
The Sweet Dreams in Candyland dance is on Friday, February 28th in the MBMS Multipurpose Room from 5:30-8:30. Put on your cutest jammies or your sweetest dress-up outfits for food, treats, raffle prizes, crafts and FUN!
$10 per person presale, $15 at the door.

| SUMMER CAMP EXPO! | | |
Hey there Mustangs!
Ski Week is over and what do you know....Summer is just around the corner! Don't sweat it, this Saturday, March 1st is a special opportunity to talk to camp representatives, plan with other friends and gather brochures and applications so you can go home with a plan. There is no obligation to register for any camps this day, simply show up to get information, enjoy the food trucks, entertainment. There will be a silent auction featuring each participating camp so you could win a camp package and save big!
Open to the Public ~ FREE Admission!

| Mother Son Event - Fit for Adventure! | | |
The 2014 Annual Meadows Mother-Son Event will be Sunday, March 16th from 3pm-6pm at Adventure Plex. We've got the whole place to ourselves for 3 full hours. Activities include play structure, rock wall, inflatable obstacle course and games on the sports court. See the form for more details and to sign up. $10 per person. Welcome back Mustangs! We look forward to seeing you all back this week Tuesday - Friday for Running Club (weather permitting!!)
* The Meadows class with the highest percent participation the week ending 2/14 and the recipients of the Mustang Trophy is Mrs. Pahl's 1st grade - with 35% participation!!!! Congrats to all those that ran!! Come on out and run, your class could be next to get the Big Bold and Gold Mustang Trophy!
*We want to give a shout out to our newest 3rd marathon runner, Emilie Miner in Mrs. Yates class completed her 3rd Running Club Marathon on Valentine's Day!! WAY TO GO!
*Have your runner let us know about any running she did over break and we will count the mileage towards running club. Did she run any races or run with you for exercise? Let us know, it counts!
*Due to the success of Valentine's Day at Running Club, we are launching a new incentive starting this week: Bring a Friend Fridays! Every Friday, run runner can bring a friend - yes that even includes you (that hasn't come in a while or ever) and get double laps, bring two or more friends, we will triple the laps for all of you!

| Comedy & Magic Club Fundraiser: Get Your Tickets Now! | | |
Come laugh the night away while supporting the Meadows PTA! One of the most popular events of the year, the Comedy & Magic Club fundraiser will be on Wednesday, March 26. Doors open at 6:30pm, show starts at 8pm, and delicious dinner and drinks will be available all night beginning at 6:30pm. Meadows 4th Annual Science Night is coming your way on May 2 from 5-8pm! Moving this popular annual event to May means we'll enjoy later sunshine, warmer temperatures...and our science specialist Mrs. Michael and her new baby Ben will be able to join us! Be sure to mark your calendars for this exciting night of learning and fun, and if you get a moment, please stop by the Science Lab this week to welcome Mrs. Michael back from maternity leave.

| Attention All Runners - Track and Field Class | | |
There is an exciting Track and Field/Cross Country class put on by the City of Torrance. Kids participate in dashes, relays, jumps and shot put (yes, we said shot put!) and have the opportunity to participate in three track meets.
10 Mondays, 6:00-7:15, starting March 31st.
