The MBEF team wants to thank you for your overwhelming response in the 2013-2014 fundraising campaign for our schools!! MBEF has earned just over $5.1M on a goal of $5.2M to date, and money is still coming in!! This is the first time ever that MBEF has raised over $5.0M!
As of today, Meadows is at 93% participation, the highest we have ever reached! Thank you so much to all the families that were able to and chose to participate. Thank you for doing what you can to help our schools stay on top! We will keep you updated as the final numbers come in over the next week or so.
Please, if you have not donated and still would like to, it is not too late. MBEF will continue to accept donations and we will make sure we get credit for your teachers.
Congratulations to every class! Every teacher this year will be getting a bonus from MBEF. TEN classrooms had 95% or higher participation level and will receive a $300 bonus. All three Kindergarten classes reached above 95% and they will get a total of $900 for Kinder this year!!!! Awesome! Please click here to see your child's classroom percentage.

Meadows Running Club Parents

We had another prenominal week of running last week, thank you to all those that came out to run!
The Meadows class with the highest percent participation last week and the recipients of the Mustang Trophy is Mrs. Kostan's 4th grade!! Congrats to all those that ran!!
There were a lot of MEADOWS MUSTANG RUNNERS at the Super Bowl 5k and 10k races in Redondo Beach this weekend! Congratulations to all those that came out and ran. Please have your student let us know at running club this week if you were there so we can give credit for their mileage. Don't worry if your runner missed this one, there will be more race opportunities to come.
In case you haven't heard the buzz, there will be an end of the year Meadows Running Club incentive party on Friday, June 13th. Your runner must complete 3 marathons total this year (that is 393 laps). Weekend race running and family running can count, you just need to let us know the mileage and we will count it towards your runner's lap total. Thank you to all those that support the running club! Everyone is always welcome to join the fun!!

To all the fathers and daughters in Meadowsland: We are having the Sweetest Slumber Dance on Feb 28th at the MBMS Palace from 5:30 to 8:30. So please join us for a night filled with candy cane wishes, sugar plum dreams and may all your Sweet Dreams in Candyland come true!

We are ready to close the books on this event and get on with the PARTIES! The TOP LAP runners will get a movie night and the TOP FUNRAI$ERS will have lunch with a friend and Principal Connie Harrington.

Our online fundraising auction will take place from March 17-27 this year. We are in need of volunteers to give just a few hours of time to help make our auction a success.
