Today's librarians are truly the gateway to knowledge, on the internet as well as on the book shelves. Never have there been so many ways for a child to learn, explore and grow. Unfortunately, a vast number of California schools no longer have them. Ours do, thanks to your donations to MBEF. Mbef.org/givetoday.

First General PTA Meeting of the Year - Next Tuesday

Mark your calendar for this year's first PTA meeting - Tuesday, September 17th at 8:15am in the cafeteria.  Come find out what is planned for the school year and see how you can get involved!  See you there!

GIVE MEADOWS A WIN, WIN!

The annual Innisbrook Fundraiser is a win-win for all. Your children earn fun prizes for selling gift wrap, gift items, chocolates and magazines and our PTA earns much-needed money to help support the Meadows community. Please participate and help us continue to keep Meadows one of Manhattan Beach's finest schools. Reach out to family and friends to see if they would like to purchase gift wrap or Helen Grace chocolates. If they are located out of town, they can easily order at Innisbrook.com, please register your child first so that once the order is placed, both Meadows and your child benefit! Be sure to turn your materials into the office no later than Friday, September 27. There is a gift wrapped box in the front office for checks and Innisbrook system print outs. For questions or if you need additional order worksheets, please contact MeadowsInnisbrook@gmail.com.

Parents - Check out the Innisbrook display in the cafeteria, to see the quality of the paper and we have a sample
duffle bag, too.
