KINDERGARTEN MEET & GREET AND BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT- Tuesday, August 27th | | 
1:00 - 1:30 - Parents & kinders come to the Kindergarten patio to enjoy yummy popsicles with your new friends!
5:30 - 6:15 - Parents join the Kindergarten teachers in their classrooms to learn about important classroom and school policies, what to do and bring on the first day of school, etc. (parents only) |

 First day of school is tomorrow - Wednesday, August 28th! Hours are as follows:
K-AM 8:00am Class - 8:00 - 11:20
K-AM 9:00am Class - 9:00 - 12:20
K-PM - 11:25 - 2:45
Grades 1-5 - 8:05 - 1:20
And don't forget:
No School on Monday, September 2nd (Labor Day) and Thursday, September 5th (Local Holiday)! |
Welcome Back Ice Cream & SCRIP Kick-Off | | |
 Join us for the first Friday Ice Cream of the year this Friday from 2:05pm - 3pm outside the cafeteria. We will also have the first Friday SCRIP table of the year so come check it out! Pick up some SCRIP for the long weekend and see what we have in stock! See you there....

Manhattan Beach Ed Foundation | | |
 Parent donations to MBEF will fund over 70 educators' jobs in grades K-12 this year. Thank you for your generosity. One in five elementary school teachers is funded through your donations to MBEF. Add to that your librarian, science specialist, reading specialist, music teachers, and much more, and you have the third best school district in the state. We hope we can count on you again. Back-to-School Movie Night - Friday, September 27th, from 5:30 to 9pm | |  Mark those calendars! The Meadows PTA will be hosting the first social event of the year. Grab your blankets and beach chairs and come on down with the whole family for a movie on the lower field. Dinner will be available for purchase and there will be a bake sale too! More details to follow. |

For K through 2 Mustangs and Their Dads: Adventure Guides 2013-14 | | 
Shouldn't their best memories be with you? The Y Adventure Guides Voyagers program is for dads and their children in Kindergarten through 2nd grades. Dad/daughter or dad/son pairs join a larger group for activities, community service, and campouts. Highlights include local traditions like the Hometown Fair Sponge Toss, Adopt a Family, a campout in Yucaipa, and a campout on Catalina. The program provides plenty of time to bond with kids and make new friends (kids and parents!) in the community.
