| Meadows Class Posting & Pride Day - Saturday, Aug. 24, 9am - 1pm | | |
 Come find out which class you're in next year, reconnect with friends, help spiff up the campus, join the PTA, get your new Meadows T-Shirts, buy SCRIP and more! Class lists will be posted at 9:30. Meadows Cub Scouts will be selling donuts in the morning and pizza later in the day. This always-awesome event is one you don't want to miss. KINDERGARTEN MEET & GREET AND BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT- Tuesday, August 27th | | 
1:00 - 1:30 - Parents & kinders come to the Kindergarten patio to enjoy yummy popsicles with your new friends!
5:30 - 6:15 - Parents join the Kindergarten teachers in their classrooms to learn about important classroom and school policies, what to do and bring on the first day of school, etc. (parents only) |

| Meadows FUN-rai$ing | | The beginning of the 2013 - 2014 school year is just weeks away and the Meadows PTA has some new programs that allow you to easily support our school. Support Meadows with your back to school shopping starting NOW!
Loyalty Card Program
Simply register your existing Ralphs, Vons and Target rewards cards as part of the Meadows Loyalty Card Program and you'll be set for the year. The Meadows Loyalty Card Program (formerly known as eScrip) is an easy way for Meadows to benefit whenever you shop.
Register your Rewards Cards at the vendors' websites or bring them to Pride Day and we'll assist you.
Manhattan Village Receipts Program
Another way to support Meadows School is Shopping 4 Students; Save your receipts from ALL the stores in the Manhattan Village - from Tin Roof Bistro to Macy's to Ralphs and CVS! Every dollar spent earns Meadows five points and the Village has over $10,000 they will give to our local schools. The more points we earn, the greater our share.
While at the mall, you can register your receipts with the concierge anytime (across from the Apple Store)... or turn them into the Meadows office ... How easy is that?

| Back to School Haircuts by Stella & Max... | | |
 Once again, Stella & Max will generously donate 30% from every haircut from August 15 to September 30th. So whether you want to freshen up a summer cut or get a haircut before school pictures, Stella & Max will take care of the whole family.

| THANK YOU | |  There have been many summer projects at campus including a new logo and a new tile wall. A big thank you to Anne Stuart, Nancy van Doornewaard and Adrianne Laurita for all their hard work in creating our tile wall. Come check it out! You will see our new Meadows logo on all your back to school information, gear and folders. Go Mustangs!! |
| Meadows hosted its first Summer FUN-rai$er and FUN was had!!! | |  Thank you to the 50 people that were able to attend. Four comedians, a magician and two other schools hosting fundraisers at the Comedy & Magic Club, there was definitely a party atmosphere before the show. It was FUN to catch up with Meadows Parents we were used to seeing every day and the show was FUNnomenal...one mom said 'I haven't laughed that hard in years!!'
Thank you also to the Comedy & Magic Club for donating the tickets! That allowed us to raise roughly $1000 for Meadows. We are so lucky to have this club in our community! |

Back-to-School Movie Night - Friday, September 27th, from 5:30 to 9pm | |  Mark those calendars! The Meadows PTA will be hosting the first social event of the year. Grab your blankets and beach chairs and come on down with the whole family for a movie on the lower field. Dinner will be available for purchase and there will be a bake sale too! More details to follow. |
