Sick of Sacramento underfunding our schools? Let your voice be heard and rally with us!

Saturday, March 9th, our new local Assemblyman Al Muratsuchi is hosting a "Community Meet and Greet" from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Manhattan Beach Library Courtyard. In Sacramento, he is a member of the state's Education Finance Committee. This group is reviewing Governor Brown's Local Control Funding Formula, a measure which will impact MBUSD and potentially drastically reform how California schools are funded in the future. We would love all concerned parents to be there and ask questions. RSVP is not necessary butif you want to join a group of other concerned parents at this event, please email your PTA Advocacy Team at lpyott@yahoo.com.

Your books will be part of a free Book Fair at Magnolia Place (Downtown L.A.) on Big Sunday (May 5th) which will benefit hundreds of families which would not otherwise have access to such a wide variety of reading material. Books can be dropped off in the Meadows front office or library.
