 The 2012-2013 Meadows Directory is finally here! Every family that joined the PTA this year, will receive a complimentary copy of the directory in one of your children's Tuesday envelope. If you joined the PTA and did not receive a directory, please email Andrea Ramey and Julie Misch at meadowsmembership@gmail.com. If you have not joined the PTA yet, it is not too late! If you are one of those people who likes to have multiple directories to put in your car, office, etc., there are some extras for sale for $15 each. You can stop in the office or send in a check marked for directories and we will get them to you. We apologize for the technical delays and a later than usual directory. Thanks for your understanding!

It is time to start thinking about summer already! Don't miss the Summer Camp Expo on Saturday, March 16th from 10-2 in the MBMS Gym. Meet representatives and learn about summer camps and classes from over 50 organizations. It is a FREE, fun event for the entire family. Thank you to those who supported this final year of the American Cancer Society's Daffodil Days!  We collected $600 for the cause.  Please come check out the Wall of Hope in the Cafeteria.  Daffodils will be delivered the week of March 18th.  Thank you for your generosity Meadows!!

 Please consider donating your gently used children's books (Ages 0-13) to Children's Bureau's Book Fair to help promote and celebrate literacy for all children. Your books will be part of a free Book Fair at Magnolia Place (Downtown L.A.) on Big Sunday (May 5th) which will benefit hundreds of families which would not otherwise have access to such a wide variety of reading material. Books can be dropped off in the Meadows front office or library.

Exercise your Right to Vote on March 5th, the Election Day for the City of Manhattan Beach to vote for City Council and City Treasurer. If you are not registered or don't know your polling location, click here. Busy parents can always submit an Absentee Ballot. The deadline to register to vote is February 18th.
