Halloween Cleanup - Costumes and Pumpkins wanted!
 Cleaning up from Halloween? Drop off your clean, unwanted costumes for charity in the bin at the front office and your pumpkins for composting in the bin in the Children's garden. Both are available all weekend! |
Last Day to donate to the One Warm Coat drive!
 Today is the last day to bring in your clean and gently used jackets, sweatshirts, sweaters and coats of any size to donate to the needy through the One Warm Coat Organization. Please look through your closets and donate to this worthy cause. Donation bins are located in front of the office and near the Rowell side entry gate. Thank you for your support! |

 Wondering what you're going to do with all that extra Halloween candy? Operation Gratitude is collecting candy to send to deployed US service members. Our Brownie girl scout troop is teaming up with a Junior girl scout troop in WLA who will deliver all the candy to the Armory in Van Nuys. If you would like to donate some candy, please bring it to 1405 N. Meadows Avenue (directly across from the school!). The Kim family has a box on their front porch and will be collecting until next Tuesday at 3pm. It would also be extra special if you child wrote a note or drew a picture for the service men and women overseas.....but not necessary. This is a wonderful way to give back to our soldiers and to cut back on all the extra sugar! Win-win!
