2010lc Group photo

Even though the school year is wrapping up, you still have time to submit your application for the 2015 Leadership Clinic (November 16 to 19). We've received a few applications and it is exciting to see the goals and aspirations that we help make a reality. If your school has a goal around energy or environmental education and you need some dedicated planning time that includes professional learning, then submit your application by July 17th. All you need for your application is a team of 3 to 4 teachers/administrators and a goal that you want to achieve - it could be a new high school course on sustainability, energy or environment; delivering on the cross-curricular competencies using energy or environmental education; or a community action project. Your time at the Leadership Clinic will help you create a plan to deliver on your goal!

Calling All Environmental Educators!

Water CoP Meeting Share Fair

We know there are many teachers offering great environmental education in their classrooms. Don't keep this a secret - share what you've done, how you've done it and the impact it has had on your students with other teachers through ATA professional learning opportunities or offer a workshop through your Alberta Regional Consortia. The more workshops that are offered increases students opportunities to engage in environmental stewardship. ACEE has compiled a list of all of the ATA Conventions and  Specialist Council dates, deadlines and links to web sites to submit your proposal.

Let's imagine the possibilities and take steps to Get'er Done! Did you know Albertans are recognized as the Get'Er done type? This will make all of our work that much easier!
