With over 35 workshops to choose from, there is something for everyone at the Earth Matters Conference! See the full program here.

Six good reasons why you should attend the Earth Matters Conference April 25-27, 2013.....

  1. Keynote Richard Louv, author of 'Last Child in the Woods' and 'The Nature Principle,' will inspire you and remind you of the importance of getting people outdoors - and how you can do that.
  2. You can choose from a fabulous variety of over three dozen workshops that  will help you improve your work!
  3. You'll spend five hours working with colleagues in a Community of Practice of your own design - one that will meet your needs and help you improve your practice.
  4. You can learn about the 'Environmental Responsibility' competence that Alberta Education proposes for all Alberta students - and how you can help make it a reality.
  5. You can connect with your colleagues, find inspiration and support from the dynamic environmental education community, and have a lot of fun along the way!
  6. Last but not least: the environment, and the people you teach, need you to 'be the best that you can be.'  You should attend this conference because... the Earth Matters.
