The month of June has brought periodic relief from the relentless rains and have allowed communities to begin major projects of roofing, asphalt repair and painting. If the weather holds, most postponed projects should be back on schedule.
At our June seminar in Brighton, we met with insurance agents who outlined the basic differences between the Master insurance policy and the unit owners' coverage called HO-6. We had wonderful participation from many Directors in attendance and appreciate that a number of complex insurance meeting will be held based on the information gleaned that evening. Our July seminar will be covering Civil Rights training and has recently filled up! If you were unable to register, please let me know so we can schedule a future class. A reminder e-mail will be sent out soon with pertinent information so be on the look-out! We would like to welcome three new communities to our family of managed associations: Royal Club Association, Timber Ridge Village and Wyndham Hills 2.
We also want to welcome to our staff, Bob Nelson who will be working with communities previously managed by Ryan Amsler. Ryan is leaving CPM to pursue another trade and we wish him the best!
Our office will be closed to celebrate the 4th of July Holiday on Friday, July 3rd. Regular business hours resume on July 6th, 2015.
We also have some exciting seminars coming up including SenEarthCo training with Marc and Laina as well as a budgeting workshop on September 3rd @ 6:00pm at our Flint office to get ready for a great 2016. The dates for the SenEarthCo training will be August 19th @ 10:00am and September 1st @ 2:00pm both will also be held in Flint on Taylor Drive. Spots will be very limited, so please make sure to sign up early!!!
