Rev. Tracy Williams Installation
Rev. Tracy Williams was installed as the Pastor at Bay City, First PC on Sun., Aug. 28. She had been a member-at-large and the interim pastor at Bay City, First PC. She is a member of the calls and contracts subcommittee of the Committee on Ministry.

The Evangelism and Church Growth Committee (ECG) offers this weekly question with hopes that it will generate discussion and inspire others to think in new ways. Presbyterian Service Center has Openings
The Presbyterian Service Center (PSC) is a small non-profit conventional housing complex for the elderly and persons with disabilities. Occupancy is open to people 65 years of age or older, or adults 18 years of age or older who require features that address mobility issues and who have low income. The PSC is located in the Hobby Airport area of Southeast Houston and rent ranges from $280-$500 per month. Applications are now being accepted and may be found along with additional information on the presbytery's website.

Bryan, First PC is seeking a part-time Director of Music. They are looking for 19 hours per week, 5 years experience, formal music/choral education. Free the Captives - Space Sought
Free the Captives, a ministry for teenage trafficking victims, needs 800 to 1,200 sq ft of dedicated space year round in a church for Bible study, a candle-making business for the girls, and mentoring. The donated space would not be needed by the church on Sundays and would be within the 610 Loop or nearby so that the victims have access by bus. Learn more at www.freethecaptiveshouston.com. Robe Found at ChristChurch
Bellaire, ChristChurch Presbyterian has found a navy blue Bentley and Simon clergy robe with dark purple velvet panels down the front and "MMC" monogrammed on the inside. We'd love to reunite the robe with its owner! Please email kvits@ccpres.org.

Volunteer Help Needed in Louisiana
PDA is looking for immediate volunteer help in Hammond, Louisiana. If you are able to travel within the next two to three weeks, help is needed to help remove personal belongings from homes, remove cabinetry, doors, floors, trim, drywall, and insulation. Teams will also be needed during the rebuilding phase. Read more on the presbytery's website.

On Sun., Sept 11, Tomball, First PC will dedicate their new Fellowship Hall. You are invited to be a part of the ground-breaking ceremony at 1 p.m., including a dedication by Dr. Rush, guest speakers, a shovel photo-shoot, food, and refreshments. Cry Out! Simulcast - Sept. 23
Cry Out! Simulcast, a nationwide prayer event for women, will take place on Fri., Sept. 23 from 6 to 9 p.m. Women across the nation and around the world will be gathering together to pray. Book Launch Celebration - Sept. 25
The Woodlands Community PC (WCPC) is having a book launch celebration on Sun., Sept. 25 from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. "The Woodlands Community Presbyterian Church: A Twenty-Five Year History of Ministry and Mission" includes peoples' stories, highlights, and pictures since the founding of the church in 1981. Proceeds from the book will go 60% for mission and 40% for maintenance of the Lichtenwalter Prayer Garden at WCPC.
