Houston Flood Update
Through Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston, networks of congregations are coordinating together to maximize the efforts of volunteers and resources. If you're wondering how your church can help, this site is regularly updated with needs and resources: www.imgh.org/disaster/houston-interfaith-disaster-response-alliance-hidra. Also, the Methodists are piloting a neighborhood canvassing operation that will need help, but for now to to support their testing efforts, supplies of boxes (appropriate for moving), packing tape, water bottles and packaged snacks (for the work crews) are needed and can be sent to Cypress UMC, 13403 Cypress N Houston, 77429. If you need assistance, please contact Megan Dosher Hansen, Presbytery's appointed coordinator with HIDRA, at megateer@gmail.com.
