Ruling Elder (RE) Tim Wingfield, First Presbyterian, Wharton - Tim was ordained a ruling elder, Class of 2018, on Jan. 10 and died on Jan. 12.
RE James Hooper and family, Pinecrest Presbyterian, Houston and member of Committee on Ministry - James' sister, Chris Carter, died on Feb. 4.
Members of Grace Taiwan and Formosan Presbyterian Churches whose families have been affected by the earthquake.

Muslim-Christian Relations - Feb. 11
Devoted Friends or Subtle Foes? Workshop and Lecture
The Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston Ecumenical and Interreligious Affairs Commissions and the University of St. Thomas (UST) Center for Faith and Culture invite you to participate in a workshop on Muslim-Christian relations, presented by Dr. Sandra Keating, Catholic scholar and former member of the Vatican Commission for Religious Relations with Muslims. A free workshop for clergy, religious leaders, parish reps, and laity is Thurs., Feb. 11 from 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Lunch is included. A free public lecture is the same day at 7:30 p.m. Both events are in the Scanlan Room of the Jerabeck Center at UST. Free; open to all. For more details, click here. Bible Study Discussion (BSD) - Feb. 11
