Fresh Elastic for Stretched-Out Educators
Beyond the Good Book: Good Reads for Good Ministry What you teach and preach is biblically-based. However, other books, besides the Good Book, can shape you and your ministry. They give us stories and illustrations that can make scripture come alive. We will discuss the importance of reading all kinds of books to support the firm foundation of scripture. Please bring a book that has been important to you to share with the group. You will leave with a reading list and be inspired to read more...for yourself and your good work. If you are a volunteer, paid staff, teaching elder or just curious, you are invited to come Thurs., Jan. 21 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at the Presbytery Center. Lunch will be served. Your RSVP will assist our planning. Please send replies to Anne Wilson by Mon. morning, Jan. 18. |
