Resources to consider after Charleston
"This is the week to set aside our Presbyterian sensibilities and follow Jesus into the chaos," says Jill Duffield, editor of The Presbyterian Outlook. Read what she writes not only about a lectionary reading but also her thoughts about the events in Charleston.
Two resources for groups wishing to convene conversation on racism: "Syllabus Charleston" has concrete suggestions to consider. "Becoming the Beloved Community" has some excellent process pieces, a solid bibliography, and an understanding of both racism and how we begin to dismantle racism.
