- James' mother died Mar. 1. James, a minister-member of our presbytery, and Lily are serving as missionaries in Taiwan with USA Care Ministries International. They will be in Houston in June. James' email address

RE Jacqueline Chambers, Pinecrest Presbyterian, Houston - recovering from surgery last Friday. Jackie is the Choir Director at the church.

TE Edward "Ed" Wolf will be installed Apr. 19, at 4:00 p.m., as Pastor at First Presbyterian, Galveston.

Moving Forward
Grieving can take a long time, many times longer than one expects. It helps to have support from those who have gone through a similar experience. With support, encouragement, and listening, there comes hope. Memorial Drive Presbyterian, Houston, invites you to Moving Forward, Wed., Apr. 15. Available: choir robes
John Knox Presbyterian, in the Spring Branch area of Houston, has about 35 choir robes available at no charge. The robes are a light royal blue color, somewhat worn but still usable. Job opening: Office Assistant
Pines Presbyterian, Houston, is seeking a part-time Office Assistant (20 hours per week). Responsibilities include weekly church bulletin, monthly newsletter, and membership updates. #iLeadGivesBack Interfaith Ministries
Interfaith Ministries has planned several events in April for youth, ages 14-18. The purpose of these events is to celebrate community service and religious diversity here in Houston. Learn more about these events:
  • An online contest to award youth service
  • A pet food drive and two service days for students to gain volunteer hours and give back to IM's aniMeals program
  • An Interfaith Tour and Youth Dialogue
  • A party for teens with live entertainment representing Houston's diverse cultures and faiths, plus lots of food, music, and prizes.
