Family and friends of TE Asa Hunt, HR - Rev. Asa Hunt died Mar. 19. Asa served this presbytery in many capacities and will be very much missed. A memorial service will be held Fri., Mar. 27, 10:30 a.m. at First Presbyterian, Houston.
Family and friends of RE Beverly Kennedy, St. Andrew's Presbyterian, Houston - Beverly, longtime member of St. Andrew's, died Mar. 5. She was the church's first female elder.
RE Steve Johnson, First Presbyterian, Wharton, and family - Steve's sister, Kimberly Kay Oliver, died Mar. 21.

Fish Fry in East Houston Woodforest Presbyterian, Houston (15330 Wallisville Rd.), invites you to its annual Fish Fry on Sat. Mar. 28, 11:00-3:00 p.m. Dine-in or take-out. A musical meditation for Holy Saturday You are invited to a musical meditation for Holy Sat., Apr. 4, 5:00 p.m. at St. Philip Presbyterian, Houston. Matthew Dirst, Organ and Harpsichord; Tony Bout�, tenor; Colin St. Martin, Baroque Flute; and Barrett Sills, Viola da gamba, will play music of the French Baroque by Fran�ois Couperin, Michel Delalande, Joseph Bodin de Boismortier, and Nicolas de Grigny as a musical complement to Holy Week services. The program will last for approximately one hour. |

Disaster Chaplaincy Two-Day Training Houston Interfaith Disaster Response Alliance (HIDRA), hosted by Interfaith Ministries for Greater Houston, will provide an opportunity for clergy and lay leaders from the Houston area faith communities to learn together and share experiences about disaster preparedness and response at a 2-day Disaster Chaplaincy training event, April 28-29, 9:00 am.-4:00 p.m. at the Houston Red Cross building, 2700 Southwest Fry. Houston. The class will be capped at 40 participants.
