Jesus did not command us to "develop" leaders. He commanded us to make "disciples." The world "develops" leaders, the Church "disciples" them. The two are not the same.

Advent is about preparing to welcome the birth of God's son into our lives. When the world overwhelms us with demands, let us be reminded of what our true priorities should be. We ask God to help us keep our eyes on him and to focus our energies on bringing about justice and peace, which are signs of the kingdom here on earth. |

Have a passion for medical mission?
Medical Benevolence Foundation (MBF) is looking ahead and planning mission trips for 2015 and 2016. While the purpose of these trips is to serve the needs of our partners, one consistent outcome is that God does a great work in both trip participants and partners as we work together and build relationships. The end result is that in partnership, everyone wins, everyone grows, and God is glorified. Dates are subject to change, depending on confirmation from the partner. Teams are kept small (12 and under), so get your name on the list early to make sure you don't miss out.
