TE Larry Spencer (HR) - stent surgery last Friday. Larry and Lucille are now living in Dallas.
RE Patty Tremble (Webster Presbyterian) - Patty's mother died Nov. 9 in Tennessee.
TE Ryan Kim, Associate Pastor at Korean Central, Houston - Ryan's mother died recently in South Korea, Ryan serves on presbytery's Committee for Preparation for Ministry.
Family and friends of RE Mark Steven Wright - Mark died Nov. 8. He was a charter member of Covenant Presbyterian, College Station.
RE Richard Knapik, First Presbyterian, Bay City - Richard has been at St. Luke's hospital since Oct. 15. Richard is Clerk of Session at the church.
Emmy and TE Doug Harper (HR) - Emmy is in Memorial Hermann Memorial City Hospital.

Evangelism can't be our focus! We must not stop sharing the good news, but here's the deal, here's the wonderful thing: evangelism gets done along the way as you do discipleship. The great commission is just about going to disciple the nations and you know what happens...as you disciple them, evangelism takes place, because it's done in the context of discipleship.

Prayers for those participating in New Beginnings
Teams from John Knox, First Rosenberg, Oaks, Alden Bridge, First Texas City, Westminster Houston will gather for training Jan. 23 and 24 to build on their assessment reports to create next steps for congregational renewal. New Beginnings is a congregational diagnostic and transformation coaching process of the PC(USA). Please keep these congregations in your prayers.
