Presbytery meeting - Nov. 15, 9:30 a.m.
Commissioners: Download the meeting materials (known as The Packet)
or print them before coming to the meeting at Indian Presbyterian, Livingston. There is no Wi-Fi at the facility. The Packet can also be accessed on the homepage of the presbytery's website. Also, be on the lookout for the Addendum for Saturday's meeting. It should be posted on the presbytery's website soon!
Deadline for online registration is Fri., Nov. 14, at 12 noon. When registering online, you may also make a lunch reservation for which you pay when you arrive at the meeting.
Hotel reservations - call Hampton Inn (1510 US Highway 59, Livingston) 936-327-2300. Be sure to mention the Presbytery of New Covenant when making reservations.

Music at St. Philip Concert Series presents "A Musical Odyssey" with Michelle Bradley, soprano, and Teruhiko Toda, piano, Sun., Nov. 16, at 4:00 p.m. Michelle and Teruhiko bring to life the elegance of the French art song and the romantic nuances of German poetry. The ever changing state of human emotion is explored as Michelle presents her wide range of musical interests and talents. The program includes songs, arias, and spirituals by Mahler, R. Strauss, Faur�, Poulenc, Puccini, Verdi, H. T. Burleigh, and others. The concert takes place in the sanctuary of St. Philip Presbyterian, Houston. Admission is free. An offering will be accepted to support the Music at St. Philip Concert Series.

St. Luke's choir in Italy
Members of the Chancel Choir of St. Luke's Presbyterian Church, Houston, returned from their week-long trip to Italy, after singing a series of programs with the Continuo Arts Festival Chorus. In addition to these programs, the participants enjoyed various concerts by other choirs and sightseeing opportunities.

The congregation of St. Paul Presbyterian, Houston, invites you to their annual African Thanksgiving Celebration Sun., Nov. 23, at 10:30 a.m. Light refreshments will be served after the service. Donated non-perishable foodstuff will be given to Christian Community Service Center (CCSC) Food Bank.

MDPC Christmas Concert
The MDPC Sanctuary Choir with orchestra invites you to their holiday concert Sun., Dec. 7, 7:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary of Memorial Drive, Presbyterian, Houston. Music by K. Lee Scott, who has emerged as one of our country's foremost composers of church music, and Christopher Rouse, one of American's most prominent composers of orchestral music, will be featured in an all-American Holiday Concert. Scott's "Christmas Cantata" is full of grand and glorious music befitting the birth of the Son of God. Rouse's unusual "Karolju" is based on centuries of beloved international Christmas carols in bright new settings. Admission is free.

Fall Thanksgiving Community Concert
Come worship our Lord! Faith Presbyterian, Baytown, will host a community concert for all ages Sun., Nov. 16, 6:00 p.m. TE Jim Gill (Faith Presbyterian, Baytown), Kannah Lundsford (Baytown Christian Fellowship), and Kay Weaver (New Wine Christian Fellowship) will be featured soloists. Church Women United Childcare Center Choir and the Sterling High School Swing Choir will also perform. This community concert is for all ages and the entire family! No tickets necessary. Non-perishable food items will be collected to benefit the food pantry of Faith Presbyterian.
