Because I am not yet living up to what Jesus expects me to be in those red letters in the Bible, I always define myself as somebody who is saved by God's grace and is on his way to becoming a Christian... Being saved is trusting in what Christ did for us, but being Christian is dependent on the way we respond to what he did for us.

Leading Others and Managing yourself
TEs Dave McKechnie and Dave Peterson are teaching a DMin course Mon.-Wed., Nov. 3-7 at Fuller Texas, 10200 Richmond Ave., Ste. 170, Houston, TX 77042. As the North American church heads into a more missionary encounter with the culture, church leaders need to gain experience in making change. In this course the elements of leadership in a Christian context will be examined from a Biblical, historical, and practical perspective. Particular focus will be upon self-understanding and what parts of leadership will be natural and which ones will need to be acquired.
