 | Discipleship Thoughts |
The child asks of the Father whom he knows. Thus, the essence of Christian prayer is not general adoration, but definite, concrete petition. The right way to approach God is to stretch out our hands and ask of One who we know has the heart of a Father.

Face-to-Face opportunity at General Assembly
Church Leadership Connection will sponsor Face-to-Face meetings during General Assembly. Search committees, mid council staff, teaching elders, and other church professionals have an opportunity to move beyond the written words of Personal Information Forms (PIF) and Ministry Information Forms (MIF) to meet and talk directly with one another about the possibility of ministry together. Face-to-Face provides the occasion to connect with a number of folks in one place over several days and the opportunity to be open to the movement of the Holy Spirit. There is no cost to participate in Face-to-Face.

Photos always needed
Everyone responds to photos in publications - online or in print. Right? The presbytery would like your help in gathering photos taken at your church's activities that could be used in presbytery publications or on our website. Throughout the year, remember to share action shots that show your members in ministry in or out of the church! Please send them to Helen Wolf so that all can enjoy!
