Family and friends of RE Barbara Eudey, St. Philip Presbyterian. Barbara died Mar. 15. A memorial service will be held at St. Philip on Friday, March 21, at 2:00 p.m.
RE Ann Williams, Faith Presbyterian Baytown, recovering from cataract surgery.
TE, Rev. Jae Ho Yee, Houston, Korean Central, and family. Rev. Yee's 93 year old mother is not doing well. He recently made an emergency trip to Korea to see her.
RE Mark Potter (Houston, First) and family. Mark's mother died on March 10.

Deadline approaches for grant application
The Presbytery of New Covenant is receiving applications for grants from the Vision Initiative Fund and the Lynn Johnson Social Justice Fund. Completed applications forms should be emailed to Jody Harrington, jody.harrington@gmail.com, Moderator of the Ministry Division Steering Committee, by Tues., Apr. 1.
Application forms are available on the presbytery's website along with more information about the grants. Grant awards will be announced at the July presbytery meeting.

PW Spring Gathering - Apr. 5 
Presbyterian Women's Spring Gathering will be held at Spring Branch Presbyterian, Houston, Sat., Apr. 5, 9:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Come be intellectually stimulated, physically nourished, and spiritually fulfilled as we listen, discern, break bread and worship together. The deadline for registration is Sat., Mar. 29. Registrations may be mailed to Star Starling, Treasurer, 201 East Feagin, Livingston, TX 77351-2422. All women, regardless of whether in PW or not, are invited to come - the inspirational program will touch women of all ages in all walks of life!

The next date for a Presbytery of New Covenant group to travel to Guatemala with CEDEPCA, (Protestant Center for Pastoral Studies in Central America) is set for July 17-25, 2015. CEDEPCA is an educational non-profit that works to transform lives by offering education, accompaniment, and safe reflection spaces to women and men of diverse Christian traditions and communities.

Resources available to help churches claim tax credit
For the 4th and final year since the Small Employer Healthcare Tax Credit was offered in its current form to small tax-exempt employers, including churches with fewer than 25 full-time equivalent employees, the Board of Pensions is once again providing resources to help PC(USA) churches and other employing organizations claim this credit. Even if you have no taxable income, you may be eligible to receive the credit as a refund as long as it does not exceed your income tax withholding and Medicare tax liability. More information
