Annual Live Nativity
Have you ever listened to the Christmas story and seen a live re-enactment accompanied by choir, narration, and carol singing? Have you ever heard a choir sing carols in the chilly night and waited to see the story unfold before you? Bring your friends and family to St. Luke's Presbyterian, Houston, Wed., Dec. 11, to see an enactment of the nativity scene, complete with the "nativity package" of animals and including everyone's favorite camel. Re-enactment of the Christmas story, accompanied by choir and narration, will occur at 6:30 p. m. and 7:30 p. m. The Live Nativity will be on display 6:00-8:00 p.m.

The Word Became Flesh
The choir and orchestra of Webster Presbyterian will present this year's Christmas cantata as part of the worship service on Sun., Dec. 15, at 11:15 a.m. The cantata, "The Word Became Flesh," is written by Dan & Heidi Goeller. This work is a musical exploration of the doctrine of the Incarnation. The musical score is epic in scope and contains a beautiful balance of familiar hymns and Christmas carols with new choral compositions. Webster Presbyterian Church is located at 201 West NASA Parkway in Webster, near the intersection with Hwy 3.

'Christmas in the Park' with 21 congregations!
Enjoy a special Houston Christmas on Sun., Dec. 15, 6:00-8:00 p.m. at "Christmas in the Park" when the Gospel story of Christmas is told. At least 5 Presbyterian churches are involved: John Knox, Spring Branch, Young Nak, Pathways, and Love Vietnamese NCD. The entire park will be filled with actors and dramatic presentations, choirs and handbells, crafts and cookies, camel rides and petting zoo, and hundreds of candles lighting up the entire park. And it's all free! In Spring Valley Park, 1025 Campbell Rd.

The founder of Presbyterianism, John Knox, led an adventurous life during the turbulent years of the early Reformation in the 16th century. Come learn about this amazing man and his times at the North American Symposium which will take place at Montreat in North Carolina Mar. 7-8.
