 | REVIVAL THOUGHTS |
If sinners be damned, at least let them leap to Hell over our bodies. If they will perish, let them perish with our arms about their knees. Let no one go there unwarned and unprayed for.

Take the interfaith survey!

Practice hospitality!
Christmas International House (CIH) is a peacekeeping program where families host international students during two weeks of the Christmas holidays. Students experience American family life and Christmas traditions. Families learn about different cultures. All experience new friendships and fellowship through shared meals, sightseeing and excursions.
The Houston program needs host families. Share the love of Christ and celebrate His birthday with those far from home! CIH application

Peacemaking Offering
Presbytery's Outreach Committee has designated "The Peacemaking Ministry Associate" initiative of the Houston Jewish/Presbyterian Dialogue Group as a recipient of this year's World Communion Peacemaking Offering to be received Sun., Oct. 6. This project will receive funds from the presbytery portion of the Peacemaking Offering. Typically, each congregation retains 25% of the offering received. If your congregation would like to support this project with its 25%, you are free to do so. A brochure explaining the project will be available as a bulletin insert for your use.
The project proposed by the Houston Jewish/Presbyterian Dialogue Group is a two-fold initiative which addresses the last General Assembly's challenge to seek ways to positively invest in peace on the West Bank.
- The first focus is to fund a position of Peacemaking Ministry Associate. Our hope is to find a person who is currently in seminary or has recently graduated from seminary without a call. We believe this could be an ordainable position. Job description
- The second emphasis is to fund scholarships for students in the Hand in Hand School in Jerusalem. This school is a K-12 school whose student body, faculty, and staff are made up of Israelis and Palestinians.
The funding goal of both projects is $60,000 and will be raised in both the Presbyterian and Jewish communities.
