REVIVAL THOUGHTS
Do we know a prayerfulness like that of Luther, who once said, "I have so much business to do today that I shall not be able to get through it with less than three hours' prayer."

Young Adult Volunteers

Two Young Adult Volunteers are coming to New Covenant for 10 days leading up to the Celebrate Mission event.  One served in Northern Ireland and the other in West Virginia. We are seeking opportunities for them to speak to congregations between Sept. 26 and Oct. 7. Since they will be here 2 Sundays and each could speak separately, we could accommodate 4 worship services and some opportunities during the week. We especially want to connect them with PYCC and college groups in congregations. Host churches will need to provide transportation to and from the host family with whom they are staying. Contact Mike Cole to make arrangement for speaking opportunities.

Reserve table now for Celebrate Mission!

The presbytery will present a special mission celebration Sat., Oct. 5, at Grace Presbyterian, Houston (10:00-1:00 p.m.). Its purpose is to allow everyone to network with mission celebrants and learn how others are doing mission. Tables will be available to display information about your mission project. Reserve your table and make lunch reservations ($6) now by contacting Carrie Walker.

.

Deadline to register for tables and lunch is Sat., Sept. 28! Flyer
