Rev. Jack Haberer and his wife Barbie - Barbie is now at home after a visit to the ER at Clear Lake Regional Hospital on Saturday.
Patsy Armbruster and family - Patsy's husband Clifton died Sun., May 19. Patsy is a former PW Moderator for New Covenant.
Rev. Jane MacColl, HR - Jane fell recently, breaking her arm and fracturing a bone in her face.
RE John Jo, Moderator-Elect of the presbytery, and family - While in town for his granddaughter's graduation from high school, John's father-in-law, Rev. Sohn, was admitted to the ICU with cardiac issues. Rev. Sohn is a retired Presbyterian minister.
The Chancel Choir of St. Luke's Presbyterian, Houston - traveling to the Big Apple to join 300 others in singing the world premiere of Mark Hayes' Requiem on May 27 at Lincoln Center.

The next Stated Meeting of the Presbytery of New Covenant will be held Sat., June 8, at First Presbyterian, Galveston, beginning at 10:00 a.m. For the first time, you are now able to register online!

There will be a Treasurers Workshop during the meeting and a Clerks Review of Session Records after the meeting. Please register with Lynn Hargrove.

Houston groundbreaking for Presbyterian Children's Homes & ServicesA groundbreaking ceremony for 4 duplexes to be built on property owned by St. John's Presbyterian, Houston, took place May 16. The four units that will house seven single parents, their children and a live-in social worker, are part of the PCHAS Single Parent Family Program. |
