Want to Crowd-Fund a Shoe?
Artists Emily Boulger and Sharon Silverman are creative in more ways than one. They have posted a GoFundMe link so that community members can make sure that their beautiful shoe design is included in Soles of Haverhill this Fall! See more pix of "Dancing on the Merrimack here.

Our fabricator has given special permission for us to add some additional shoes to our order over the next couple of weeks, to allow for this and other last minute sponsorships! If you are working on a sponsorship bid right now, or can do so in the next week or two, please email Alice Mann directly, or email Soles.
"Community Build" a Huge Success
THANK YOU to all the community members who turned out this week--and all the organzations that assisted in some way--in the exciting "Community Build" at Portland Street Playground.  Special thanks to all our donors who contributed more than $35,000, and to Mayor Fiorentini who partnered with Team Haverhill and directed City funds and services toward making it happen.

More than 75 people were involved in the work this week...and it's not done yet. The City will be installing the new basketball court and interior walkways within the next week or two. Game tables and seating will be ordered this week. By the end of the summer, landscaping and furniture installation will be complete. We will let you know as soon as a celebration/dedication date is set!
Please Vote on June 10

Don't forget to go to the polls on June 10, to participate in an important community decision--funding replacement of the deteriorated Hunking School. As previous school construction debt is retired, voters will decide whether to continue the debt payments (already part of property tax bills) in order to support a next round of construction.
