The June dedication of the Essex Street Gateway Community Mural was an inspiring event. Anita Walker of the Massachusetts Cultural Council gave a wonderful address. International fashion designer Stuart Weitzman shared what this city means to him. Artists Meg Saligman and James Shuster spoke briefly, and there were moving testimonials about journalist Barney Gallagher and African-American firefighter Sidney Mason. Susan Kane and the whole crew from HCTV worked to capture this event and create a show that probably has you in it somewhere if you attended the event! So many people, organizations, and businesses had a hand in this success--we hope you enjoy the show.
