When it comes to mentoring, most people think of  one-on-one interactions between a mentor and a mentee. But that doesn't always have to be the case.  Group mentoring exists in many forms:  team mentoring, peer mentoring, and facilitated group mentoring.
 
In our May issue we offered concrete strategies to help leaders address one of the biggest challenges they face in creating a mentoring culture - creating value and visibility for mentoring. Leaders' remarks and actions send important signals. Many leaders take a hands-off stance; they assume that by announcing a program and socializing it their job is done.
