Today I would like to hand over to Marney Strachan, Director of New Products at Neil's to discuss the Redekop™ Choppers ...

We recently had the pleasure of a visit from Trevor Thiessen and Corbin Ericson from Redekop™.  Trevor is one of the Co-owners and Corbin is the Chief Engineer.

We took the opportunity to travel to WA and SA to visit with a number of Dealers and Farmers who have purchased Redekop™ MAV™ Straw Chopper Systems.  

A point I have raised before is that while many of the combines get released in the Northern hemisphere before Australia, there are occasions the Combines we get are just slightly different.  This year's Redekop visit helped identify some of the issues and variations we need to cover for Australia and helped answer some of the finite setup questions.  We resolved a few set up issues and got some glowing feedback on how well the Redekop™ MAV™ benefits all these farming operations in some vastly different country and conditions.

This year we have a New Redekop™ release.  This was shown last week at Farm Progress in Regina Canada.

The 340 series Full housing replacement for John Deere™ STS 50, 60 and 70 Series Combines.  This unit replaces an existing factory Strawchopper with a complete New unit incorporating all the Redekop™ MAV™ features plus a Redekop™ Wide Spread Tailboard option.  These are well priced to upgrade your existing chopper to provide a wider and even spread of residue.  This will comfortably spread up to 45 feet wide.

Enquiry for MAVs has been brisk again this year with many units sold already.  We have shipments on the water now and more due to leave soon, so get in early and secure yours and be prepared for planting 2017.
