I'm up in North Queensland at the moment doing a Dealer run and attending the Cairns PBR (19th March) and will give you a bit of a rundown in the next newsletter. I'll hand you over to Steph with her news from Corowa ... "Corowa Courier"It's been 366 days since we last got to celebrate, but Derek Brown has just turned 45, to mark such a momentous day he says he now feels a year older than he did last year. For a 45 year old who looks 35, (just ask him) and acts like a 20 year old, he has really come into his own this year. When speaking to the big Dogga next, ask him about how many AFD's (Alcohol Free Days) he has had, he's currently sitting on 5 for the year and not only is Jules enjoying being able to sleep the whole night through without waking up to the sound of his snoring, he and his Doctor cracked a bunch of celery to celebrate! On a more sombre note, Derek is being kicked out of his beloved Boys Club this year, and  as soon as he's out, the women will finally be allowed back in. It's a bit of a touchy subject for Derek, but the fellas at the OASIS are getting ready to hold a welcome party at the Bowls Club in July to help cheer him up. "The only reason Derek doesn't want women in the APEX Club is because he wants to be the only one in a dress"Shain is enjoying having Matti Pieri back, finally being able to understand what everyone is talking about. Poor guy has had to deal with the shenanigans of young Randall and Aden for too long now, and after failing to feel like one of the boys again, he and Matt have fallen back into step talking about dogs, horses and anything that runs or drives around the track. As for myself, I've been busy training for the start-up of the Hume League Netball season. I'll be starting on the bench for the ABC Club, resting my numerous injuries and enjoying a few drinks, non-alcoholic if anyone asks.
