At Neil's we do our best to keep up with the latest technology to help provide the best service in the business.  We have found that sometimes you can spend all the money in the world gaining the top of the line systems only to find it doesn't work efficiently, or it slows things down.  Sometimes it's best to take the "Don't fix it if it ain't broken" approach ... that's why the boys in Toowoomba a trialing their new hands free headsets!

"DUBBO TIMES"

Hi everyone,  I am the manager of the Dubbo Neil's Parts Store and am a big Rugby League fan, I have played just about my whole life and need to retire.
 
Up the front we have Ted Weldon new to the counter but has been here the longest working in the yard and is enjoying his new role as a counterman.  Also up front we have big Kurt Andrew, he is right in to the SES and loves helping out, he is loving life here at Neil's Parts.

In the store we have Garry Finlay this guy loves his fishing but he is still trying to catch Moby Dick.  In the yard we have Darrin Hartley this guy loves building little toys and always has these ideas of making something.  Then we have Kurt Walker always working on cars and having big nights.
 
Last but not least we have Jarryn Powyer, this guy is a big football star playing rugby League for Dubbo CYMS, winning two premierships and going for number three this year.

All in all we have a great crew of guys here at Dubbo so feel free to drop in.

Dalby PBR

Hi,  This week I will quickly touch base in post of the Dalby Rural Weekly PBR held last Saturday night.

It was a great show by all involved in the ultimate test of Cowboy vs Beast.  With better weather conditions than last year it was a pleasure to attended the event with some great customers and dealers.

A big thank you again to Brad Parton and his family for traveling from Chinchilla to catch up.  If you are in the Chinchilla area and needing Gulf Western Oil or farm supplies then duck into WOOD AG and Brad will get you sorted.  I'm glad to say the boys from McIntosh & Son also enjoyed their night with a few beers at hand. 
It was good to catch up with the Sullivan Family from Jandowae, not only are they long-time friends and customers of Neil's Parts but Jason is an old PBR bull rider as well.  Every year when our work colleagues came out from the US Jason and Vicki would treat them to something special on the farm, from bucking their bred bulls to a spot of night shooting, nothing was ever too much trouble.  We appreciate the friendship and it's always good to catch up at a social event like this.

As always the supercharged AU was a huge crowd pleaser during the pre-show and intermission break start-ups.  This week it seemed to be the little ones enjoying the noise and wanting to get in on the action.


Last but not least the Neil's Parts/Gulf Western pocket rocket Cowboy Sam O'Connor was back to his best taking out the 3rd segment to head into the championship round leading the table scoring a huge 86 points on the bull they call "Rockstar".
