New Year...
| |
...new beginnings. In theory, anyway.
Most people, apparently, only keep their resolutions for nine days. Unsurprisingly... After all, if people can wait until January 1st to start something, perhaps they weren't that serious anyway. Or, they should have made themselves a promise that only needed to be kept for eight days...
Here in Oakview, we've always said that those who want to change won't wait for some spurious date. They'll get going. They'll think about "what will be different, tomorrow", and make it happen. They'll control their own destiny.
So, this newsletter is about implementing plans, and being ready for change.

Nothing, that is, except for the time and cost of producing them in the first place and the damage it does to the self-esteem of a business, or its reputation among the staff and investors ...
If you're on one side and your goals are on the other, you need to bridge that gap!
Find out what happened when a professional services firm raised expectations - yet didn't act.
Then ask whether this could be you...

If anything, competition will probably speed up even more in the next few decades'. Considering that was written in 1995, he was pretty close to the mark. For sure, the pace of change in the last eighteen years, even the last four years, has been frenetic. Yet the process of change outlined in his first book, and expanded since, hasn't really changed in all that time. Find out why, here...
