Crafty Colonel Spring Cleaning Tip: Don't Paint the Walls. Just Add Water!
As you strategize all your spring cleaning chores, we may be able to strike "painting" off the Colonel's honey-do list!
Carl Minchew, Director of Product Development at Benjamin Moore, says before you invest in paint, try to tackle taking marks off your walls with a clean cloth or sponge and water. Stubborn stains may require a small amount of dishwashing detergent, mild soap, or a commercial cleaner like Formula 409. Each of those is cheaper than paint! Minchew says whatever you use to remove the stain, make certain you rinse the wall with plain ol' water.

Your contributions to the Good Works Program of The Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels will soon be improving lives and providing hope!
HOKC General Manager Linda Boone says over 300 non-profits requested grant application forms in 2014 from the Honorable Order.
"We'll get requests for grants totaling between $2.5 and three-million-dollars this year," Boone said.
The Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels is a membership organization that doesn't have a dues structure. Instead, The Honorable Order encourages Kentucky Colonels all over the world to make regular contributions to our Good Works Program which distributed nearly two-million dollars to worthy causes in 2013.
