*****NEWS from PACMASC*****
Hello All!
It is an exciting time for our Miniature American Shepherds! Full recognition is just around the corner. We have taken the AKC world by storm - our dogs have proven themselves in both the conformation ring and performance events - Herding, Obedience, Rally, and Agility.
It is time for PACMASC to add to our claims to fame, which include hosting 2008 Mini Nationals, multiple specialty shows and of course our education seminars with Pat Hastings. Once we were approved into FSS, PACMASC hosted the very first Miniature American Shepherd Speciality. We then co-hosted 2011 Nationals! We have a very rich history and now it is time to start planning the next set of adventures with our dogs!
PACMASC is broadening its boundaries to the Pacific West area to include California, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, Nevada and Idaho. Of course anyone can join PACMASC, although our events will be planned for the western states.
The PACMASC Board affirmed our move into AKC and the current board is excited to start planning our first AKC sanctioned herding event!
The PACMASC yahoo group will be the primary place for all things PACMASC. As in the past your PACMASC membership includes membership in our PACMASC yahoo group.
It is time to renew your PACMASC memberships again. Membership is $10 per year and is due at the beginning of each year. Members who have paid membership in the past year will be extended until December 31, 2015. If you have not paid membership dues in the past year, you need to renew your membership. Memberships will be valid through December 31, 2015. The application form will be posted to our yahoo group and also will be updated on the PACMASC web site.
While PACMASC is a MASCUSA affiliate, PACMASC members are not required to be members of any club. The only requirement is love and enjoyment of your four legged friends! PACMASC Board members MUST be MASCUSA members in good standing.
If you have any ideas for events for the upcoming year please let us know!
Thanks,
PACMASC Board

*******REMINDER************
Three AKC Events this Fall/Winter 2014 in Oklahoma!
Hosted by MASCUSA and supported by Mid America, a MASCUSA Affliliate.
The Agility and the Obedience/Rally Trials will be the first of their kind hosted by our Breed Club, since we have just recently been licensed to host these events!!
Please help support all three of these events by submitting a small ad to be placed in the prospective catalogs!
If you are an Agility enthusiast you might prefer just the Agility Catalog, same goes for the other events.
