AKA Abbie. This was Abbie's first weekend trailing in Nosework With very limited training we had a very successful weekend. We ended up finishing 8 titles with 2 HITs. The following weekend we finished her R02 and got 2 legs on her R03. Thank you Tammy for such a nice working little girl. |

Rockin R Hope Floats showed in AKC Rally Novice level at the Tulsa
Roundup Dog Show over Memorial Day weekend. In her first two rally
entries ever, she received qualifying scores both days (one trial each
day), of 94 and 98 respectively, and placed second on Saturday, and
First on Sunday.

In Memory of Jan Sears,
a long time member of our club

"Past 15 months I so ....admired Jan. She fought this dreadful disease with faith and courage.
We would talk many hours about life. She never once said "why me". All in all she had a good year. She set her goal to get Piper's CPE Agility Championship Title (C-ATCH ) .She accomplish that goal while taking chemo treatments. She got a couple more obedience and rally titles on her Alstar girls Brooke her ARCHX title and Paige at the World CynoSport R...ally trial in Urbana, IL Paige started Level 2 and finished her Level 2 title .
Jan had a wonderful gift training dogs. She loved teaching classes and giving CGC test at the DTCCU club. She loved her sweet puppies....
Through out her illness we talked about how precious our lives are. How we are blessed. Jan was a very independent woman who lived her life with her sweet puppies.. I will miss our talks. But ...I know now she is no longer suffering.
Her dear sweet Uncle Ben I met when I was back in IL. Ben, you are a wonderful man. A very loving and caring uncle. As her friend I am grateful you were at her side. She loved you dearly.

I get to brag a lot about the accomplishments my dogs have in the ring but today is an extra special brag. MASCUA Grand Ch Dynasty's Instant Replay, CM2, THD, CGC, "Ref" was awarded his THD title a new title from AKC for Therapy dogs. The T...HD Title is for dogs that have completed over 50 documented visits. He is the first Miniature American Shepherd to be awarded this title and nothing makes me prouder than the work he does with wounded warriors, he brings them peace and relaxation and can get a smile from the hardest guy! So proud of you Referee!

this is our newest girl we're showing, MCStorms Lil Winter Aspen. She is daughter of GR CH MCStorms Sweet Alyssum owned by Carole Hill (Sweet Valley Farm) by Nelson (Makanalongs Once In A Blue Moon). She hasn't beat the older dogs yet, but draws attention because of her brilliant color and blue eyes. She got her Star Puppy at 6 months and shows promise to be an athlete being the first dog I've had to jump our dutch door that is probably about 4 1/2 ft tall. You can probably see in her eyes that she's ready to go at a moment's notice! We'll be working in agility foundations with her next.

The Miniature American Shepherd is eligible to compete immediately in AKC Herding Trials! As soon as you receive your AKC/FSS number you can enter an AKC Herding Trial.
