The Nominating Committee has approved a slate for July 31, 2014 - July 30, 2016 and this has been published in the Tuesday Talk of last week.
It was announced at the Membership Meeting on Thursday April 17th that nominations from the floor would be taken until April 30th at which time all nominations will be closed.
If anyone wishes to propose a candidate they MUST get that person's consent in writing and send it with the nomination to: board@mascusa.orgThe nominations must follow the by-laws that state that a nominee must have been a member for at least one year, attended two board meetings, or served on a committee.

Earned a C-ATCH !!!
Yesterday at a local CPE trial, Rebecca and Sally earned their C-ATCH under judge Daniel "Jay" Jones! Rebecca was so busy since it was her first time as Chief Ring Steward that she didn't have much time to think about getting the C-ATCH. Sally is 9 days from her 13 th birthday and is still running like a champ - she finished her C-ATCH in style with a Q-1st !

Timeless Laughing Out Loud (aka Giggles) & Timeless Minnie Pearl
They went out to the S Cal Portuguese Water Dog agility trial for Easter Sunday. Giggles had
very nice runs but no Q's this weekend. Pearl took 1st in Nov std getting
her NA title & 1st in Open JWW getting her 2nd leg. Very proud of my little
girls. They let their favorite toy Tucker come play. He too took a 1st in
JWW too. He's not so sure he's not an MAS!

Wigglebutt Zenyatta earned her 1st Barnhunt titles! For her instinct test (RATI) she did the 3 elements (through the hay tunnel, on the hay, and freezing on the rat) with the fastest time 7.75 seconds. She also earned her Novice Barnhunt title (RATN).
Wigglebutt Zenyatta bred by Bill & Angela Ogle & Kathy Plantz, also got her Nosework NACSW NW1 title. 1 st place out of 52 dogs for containers.

The Miniature American Shepherd is eligible to compete immediately in AKC Herding Trials! As soon as you receive your AKC/FSS number you can enter an AKC Herding Trial.
