Nation's Most Athletic Dogs to Descend on Tulsa for Championship Extravaganza
More than 1,600 of the nation's top obedience, agility and AKC Rally® dogs will jump, heel and retrieve their way into Tulsa, Oklahoma for the first-ever Companion Events Extravaganza, hosted by the American Kennel Club® (AKC®) on March 15-17, 2013. These talented canines will compete in the AKC National Agility Championship, AKC National Obedience Championship and the inaugural AKC Rally® National Competition during the three-day event.
"We're pleased to welcome a record entry of top dogs to Tulsa for the AKC National Agility Championship," said Carrie DeYoung, Director of Agility. "With the country's most accomplished agility, obedience and rally competitors together, the Companion Events Extravaganza will showcase the abilities of all our companion dogs and what can be accomplished with training."
"We're excited to bring the National Obedience Championship and AKC Rally® National Competition to Tulsa for the first-ever Companion Events Extravaganza.," said Pamela Manaton, Director of Obedience, Rally and Tracking. "The inaugural rally event will show off the sport of AKC Rally®, which is an excellent introduction to AKC Companion Events for new dogs and handlers and can provide a challenging opportunity for competitors in other events to strengthen their skills."

This change of address has been done in order to provide a better system of checks and balances. Paperwork will be held for a sufficient time to allow checks to clear the bank prior to being forwarded for processing. Payment made by PayPal must be against an invoice generated by MASCUSA for specific processes. Foreign money orders and cashier checks must be drawn on a U.S. bank. All mail that has been sent to PO Box 141097, Broken Arrow, OK and PO Box 65, Shawnee, OK, will be automatically forwarded to the new post office box.

If you are submitting registration transactions and want to speed the process up, please include a request for a PayPal invoice with your paperwork. Please do not make PayPal payments in advance - payments must be made against an invoice. Once the PayPal invoice is paid, the paperwork is immediately forwarded to the registrar. If making payment by check, the process will be delayed approximately two weeks to ensure the check clears the bank. |

According to the Records Manager for Entries, Betty Nightingale at ext 3585: "There are no Champions in the FSS or Misc class. The dogs can earn a CM.
People should not be listing CH as in Champion in front of the dog's entries for AKC shows" |

The Miniature American Shepherd is eligible to compete immediately in AKC Herding Trials! As soon as you receive your AKC/FSS number you can enter an AKC Herding Trial.
