This is Timeless Jewel CGC, RN (blue merle) & her daughter Timeless Minnie Pearl CGC,RN,RA (black tri) with our judge Michelle Illes Sunday after a long weekend of showing
Great weekend at the Winterfest cluster in Ventura. We have 2 new rally titles & 3 CGC titles earned by everyone tested. Timeless Jewel got her CGC & Rally Novice title in her 1st show ever. I'm very proud of her, she scored no lower than a 91 in 3 days of showing. Her daughter Timeless Minnie Pearl RN qualified all 3 days getting her Rally Advanced title on day 2 & took 1st place in Rally Advanced on day 3 which we did for fun & practice. She was not to be outdone by her mother! Timeless Laughing Out Loud RN earned her CGC title like a champ. My youngest girl Timeless Uptown Girl earned her CGC & got her 1st Rally leg in addition to earning Best Opposite the 2 days we made it to the breed ring. It was a busy weekend for my ladies- they hung in like pros!

Vegetables For Dogs!!
Discover what vegetables dogs can eat for a healthy treat.
(from DogChannel)
"As with all food items, portion size is important. Keep the veggie treats small. Vegetables may be low in calories, but they are not zero calories. Also make sure your dog does not choke on the vegetable in the excitement of eating them.
Dogs always seem to be hungry, and they just love "people food." So when you are looking for a healthy treat for your dog, try dog-safe vegetables. Not only are vegetables filled with vitamins and minerals, but the non-starchy vegetables are also low in calories and fat and provide fiber that promotes healthy digestion"......
The following are 11 safe, good vegetables for dogs, but to read about the suggested cooking and portions you will need to click the link!

Welcome New Member Tanya Cato!
My name is Tanya and I am married to Mike. We have three children; Kurtis 19, Lucas 16, and Amy 14. We live in St. Peters, MO. I show and breed havanese. My boys wanted something a little bigger to play ball and run with so that is how we came upon our newest family member, Bella the Mini American Shepherd. We want to do obedience with her and maybe agility and therapy work. I am also playing around in conformation with her since I currently don't have a havanese to show. My youngest girl finished last summer and is now learning agility with my daughter. It is kind of nice to show something without so much hair! Our girl Bella came from Hannah Allen in Columbia MO who is going to school to be a vet. Bella's parents are both from Mockingbird Kennels. She is so smart and a joy to live with. We are having a lot of fun with our new girl. We are looking forward to meeting and learning from others who love and own these great dogs.

Important Note:
According to the Records Manager for Entries, Betty Nightingale at ext 3585: "There are no Champions in the FSS or Misc class. The dogs can earn a CM.
People should not be listing CH as in Champion in front of the dog's entries for AKC shows" |
