The deadline for submission of winsheets for points earned from June 27, 2012 through September 3, 2012 has been extended until October 15, 2012. All winsheets for these dates must be postmarked by October 15, 2012 in order to be accepted for points. We understand there has been some confusion and therefore want to remind you of the following:
- Winsheets must be submitted for AKC shows as well as non-AKC shows. The only exception to this rule is for a non-AKC show that has been sanctioned by MASCUSA as those shows are required to submit show results to our club secretary.
- Winsheets for AKC shows DO NOT require a judge's signature. You must provide the name of the judge but you should not ask anyone at an AKC show to sign a winsheet. The winsheets for these shows must be submitted in order for the points earned to be counted for our club awards program (Championship, Grand Championship, Merit). Additionally, on a periodic basis, you must submit the AKC print-out of the points that your dog has earned.
- Winsheets for Non-AKC venues DO require the judge's signature (or the show superintendent as appropriate) for the breed classes as well as the group judge's signature if you win the group.
- Winsheets MUST be postmarked within 30 days of the show in which the points were earned for shows from September 4, 2012 and forward.
Please mail winsheets (winsheets and award applications only) to: Patricia Davis, MASCUSA Secretary, PO Box 65, Shawnee, OK 74802-0065.
The show rules can be viewed at http://mascusa.org/awards.php and you can also access the new winsheets there. There are two winsheets - one for AKC shows and one for non-AKC venues. If you have any questions regarding the show rules or the winsheets, please contact Patricia Davis, MASCUSA Secretary, at outlanderaussies@allegiance.tv. |
